Leadership Division
1. Points for attending FFA Leadership Camp shall be given if a chapter attends or, in case the camp is full, if reservations were sent to the State office prior to notification that the camp is full. Chapter Advisor shall count the maximum of 150 points if the chapter was unable to attend because of a full camp.
2. State Officers, State Officer candidates, Regional Officer and Regional Officer Candidates shall be awarded points if they were elected or nominated during the calendar year ending in December.
3. Points for attending FFA Forestry Camp shall be given if a chapter attends or, in case the camp is full, if reservations were sent to the Forestry office prior to notification that the camp is full. Chapter Advisor shall count up to 50 points according to the number submitted on registration form.
4. Leadership Form is due online at westtnffa.ffanow.org on March 4th.
5. An FFA member must be a sophomore or junior in order to run for a regional officer and can only serve one term as a regional officer. The top six in points will be elected. Candidates must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.
6. Points will be awarded for CDEs are considered straight to state CDEs with the exception of CDEs where we have a contest in West TN (Horse, Forestry, and Poultry). Only straight to state contests with a National Contest are eligible for straight to state points. Bull Pen, Cooperative Challenge and Quiz Bowl are not eligible. A regional winning team would receive 50 points and the regional runner up would receive 50 points with a 100 point maximum.
